Moving our brewery
A special thank you for all our friends and customers who have supported us from the beginning. With mixed feelings, we have permanently closed our Kaka'ako location... But with great joy, we are happy to announce a new chapter for Islander Sake Brewery!
We are expanding our brewing operations the Big Island of Hawaiʻi. The abundance of clean pure water is essential to brewing the highest quality sake, and we believe being closer to the source will allow us to create the best product possible.
As for our fermented food offerings, such as sake kasu, amazake, miso, etc... they will still be available weekly at the Farmers Market, or through our Online Shop.
Also, our new dining location, Hanale, located in Honolulu's Historic Chinatown District, is now open and accepting reservations. A larger space will allow us to accommodate more guests, and provide an even better Sushi Kaiseki Experience. Until we obtain a new liquor license, Hanale will be BYOB (no corkage fee for Islander Sake bottles, $25 all other bottles). Our sake can be purchased through our Local Retail Partners, or online at Kaka'ako Wine.
We look forward to sharing more great news in the coming weeks. Aloha from the Islander Sake Brewery team.
